Light Church
Marvelous Light Church is a home-based church in Jacksonville, FL, committed to bringing the light of Jesus into our community. We are a small, intimate group of believers who are passionate about growing in our identity in Christ, living victoriously, and supporting one another in faith.
As a home church, we focus on building strong relationships, spiritual growth, and experiencing God’s healing and restoration together. We believe in the power of God’s grace and faith to transform lives, and we encourage each person to walk in their God-given authority to bring healing, freedom, and hope to those around them.
Our mission is to create a welcoming environment where everyone can grow in their faith, embrace their new identity in Christ, and be empowered to live out God’s promises. While we are currently a small group, we trust that as we remain faithful, God will expand our reach and impact Jacksonville and beyond.

Our Pastor: Adam Gordon
Adam is the pastor and founder of Marvelous Light Church in Jacksonville, FL. Born and raised in Jacksonville, Adam has a heart for his community and a passion for impacting the world for Jesus. He graduated from the University of Florida in 2012 and Charis Bible College in 2017, where he deepened his understanding of the Word of God.
Before starting Marvelous Light Church, Adam served as the worship pastor for a local church for 10 years, where he developed a love for shepherding and teaching God’s people. Over the past year, Adam has led a Bible study in his home, which has grown into the vibrant community of Marvelous Light Church.
Adam is married to Sarah Gordon, and together they have two children, Asher and Riah. His mission is to teach the Word of God, nurture spiritual growth, and build a church that impacts Jacksonville and beyond. Adam is committed to equipping believers to walk in their God-given identity and authority, empowering them to live victorious lives in Christ.
